Conaway & Singleton Launch “Mobile District Offices” Throughout 7th Legislative District

Posted by in State Government

Assemblymen Herb Conaway Jr., M.D. and Troy Singleton have announced the launch of “mobile office hours” to help bring vital services and information directly to residents of the 7th Legislative District.

The offices will be run by the legislators’ staff so residents can access a host of services, including:

·        Senior Citizens Programs including PAAD and Senior Gold

·        Becoming a Notary Public

·        Homestead Rebates and Property Tax Reimbursements

·        Unemployment Benefits

·        Veterans Benefits

“We realize that everybody’s schedule is hectic and it’s not always easy to make it to our district offices,” said Conaway. “Hopefully this will help make things a little easier for anyone in need of state assistance or general information and at the same time help us understand the needs of our residents even better.”

“We’ve always tried to make ourselves and our services as accessible as possible, but that’s a lot easier said than done given that everyone’s day-to-day lives are so busy,” said Singleton. “By bringing these services directly to many of our towns, hopefully we can be of greater assistance and get to know our residents better.”
